Aren’t these great! This treat in the
Place Igor Stravinsky behind the Pompidou Center (a controversial modern art museum that I’ll describe at another time) was designed as a tribute to the composer. Each fountain, some which twirl while spitting out water, represents one of his famous scores.

The
place is surrounded by the Pompidou, a church, and several cafes with outside seating, of course. I’ve eaten at one, Dame Tartine (recommended by Rick Steves), a couple of times over the years while watching these fountains play.
