And how sunny WAS it, Clista! It was so sunny that I found out the memory card on my camera holds only 418 pictures (actually, that’s pretty good, I think). Don’t worry—I won’t subject anyone to all of them; 25% of them will probably be deleted. That’s the beauty of the digital camera—which took me so long to break down and buy. I take multiple shots of the same thing and keep only the good ones. I also take pictures of signs to remind me of what something is—signs to remind me where I’ve been or where I want to return—pictures of things I might never be able to find again.
So it was a beautiful day and now I have lots of pictures to review, sort, delete, etc. And tomorrow, they’re predicting another day of deep blue skies that include a big yellow ball! Yippee!!! See the rainbow in the fountain? This was taken in front of the Louvre looking towards the Tuileries Gardens. The arch in the background is the Arc du Carrousel—not the Arc de Triomphe—which I will blog about at another time.
