Sir Winston Churchill has not only his own avenue in Paris but this statue by the famous sculpture, Jean Cardot. Since 1998, it stands on his avenue next to the Petit Palais and I was reminded of this picture when I walked by yesterday. They say that the French loved his lifestyle—cigars, alcohol, and no sport.
